Feeding your child is essential but breast/chest feeding is your choice.
I will provide you with evidence-based advice to help you make informed decisions that are the best ones for you and your family.
In-home consultations come with additional travel costs and are only offered in the Munich area.
Online consultations are available wherever you are.
In-home consultations can be particularly helpful in the newborn phase especially if we are looking at latch and poistioning. It's also advisable for an initial consultation on any topic as it provides helpful contextual information.
If you choose an at home consultation I will charge €0.90 /km for travel in both directions (shortest route by Google Maps).
It is possible to cancel or rearrange an appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
If cancelled within 24 hours, there will be a fee of €50 for the missed appointment.
Health insurance coverage for lactation consultations is not standard in Germany. However, many insurers offer a budget for pregnancy and family-related services.
I recommend submitting a claim to your insurance provider to inquire about potential reimbursement.
This also helps to demonstrate a need to the insurers and increases the likelihood of such costs being covered in the future.
